LAMILL Coffee is an award-winning specialty roaster from Los Angeles, now with a must-have cold brew on tap.

Lamill Coffee is an independent, family-owned business that started a generation ago as a bulk coffee company under a different name. Current owner Craig Min was just a kid when his parents started the coffee company and he learned to roast at the tender age of 12-years-old! He took over the family business after college and started doing things the Third Wave way with attention to origin and more delicate, lighter roast profiles. He changed the company name to Lamill in 1997 and a new craft roastery was born.

Lamill's roasting facilities is located in Alhambra, just east of downtown Los Angeles. Their first full on retail cafe opened up in Silverlake (2008) and continues to expand with a recent build out of a full Lamill cafe inside LAX International Airport. In 2017, Min partnered with celebrity chef Michael Mina on an eatery in Waikiki called, The Street, with Lamill as the highlighted coffee bar. The family has also interestingly branched out into two other sister companies including a wholesale tea company called Sundance as well as a distribution arm for Hario products as Hario North America!

Their search for a cold brew solution in 2015 lead them to Joyride. "We didn't have the infrastructure and wanted to find somewhere that understood what we were doing," Lamill's COO Brian Ma says, "Once we found Joyride we've never looked back."

This cold brew collaboration starts with Lamill's Bliss Espresso Blend comprising of beans from Brazil, Guatemala, and Papa New Guinea beans. When extracted overnight using our proprietary cold brew process, you get complex semisweet chocolate notes with hints of dried fruit and almonds. An approachable cold brew with some depth. Their partnerships in other markets is giving the brand some success and is a great local LA option.

In each cup features a bold body and sweet, chocolate undertones.
